About Us

The Ateneo Eagle Watch is a key initiative of the Ateneo Center for Economic Research and Development (ACERD) – it aims to provide academics, government officials, business professionals and the general public with timely and relevant information on the Philippine’s fast and continuously changing economic landscape.

Eagle Watch Offerings:

Utilizing various internal economic models and monitoring external forecasts of leading institutions, Eagle Watch aims to conduct Regular Economic Briefings to be made exclusively available to its individual subscribers and institutional partners. Briefings will cover a number of aspects of the economy, including, but not limited to, the macro-, micro- and political economy.

In addition, Eagle Watch will also be conducting Industry Studies and Analyses to achieve its mission of promoting industry awareness with the ultimate goal of realizing inclusive economic development. Such studies will delve deep into a particular industry, identifying trends and future opportunities and threats with an accompanying policy angle to maximize the former and minimize, even negate, the latter.
